New owner for Cyprus airways

Cyprus airways will be bought by a European conglomerate which will buy 100% of the share capital in an agreement amounting to several million euros . Negotiations have been taking place in recent weeks and the airline will official announce the new ownership in the upcoming days . S7 airlines which were the majority stake holder will sell its 36.875% also

Rumours around Cyprus airways two aircraft 5B-DCW,5B-DCX are fake both aircraft are leased from GECAS and ICBC and will remain in the airlines fleet , one of the aircraft has been inactive since 15th of July but DCW has been flying normally in addition the airline plans to expand its fleet
